After building up the hype to reveal their 2026 Formula 1 car, the team’s first-ever works challenger, one designed by the legendary designer and Aston Martin Team Principal, Adrian Newey.
Aston Martin slipped out of the gates on their reveal.
Fans were left waiting over 15 minutes on the team’s official YouTube channel, whilst Formula 1 and the likes of Sky Sports were already broadcasting the start of the presentation.
The livestream was then cut with another delay before Aston Martin finally got it going on their official channel, restarting the launch presentation from the beginning.

However, the presentation later crashed again during a conversation between Sky Sports’ Rachel Brookes and the team’s drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
In a third attempt, Aston Martin got the livestream going again without further issues, despite minor audio problems, finally revealing their 2026 championship contender 38 minutes after their scheduled start time.
The car itself was parked centre stage as it was revealed, maintaining its usual British Racing Green colour scheme, with a blue Aramco rear wing flap.
