The WRC continues this weekend as the sport heads across the Andes and into Chile for the iconic Rally Chile BioBio, following the inaugural Rally Paraguay, won by Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier.
Ogier secured victory at the last event, surviving the challenging and punishing conditions of the Paraguayan gravel stages, and it put him in third in the drivers’ standings, within nine points of the championship leader, Elfyn Evans.
As such, it means Evans will open up the road on Friday morning, when the rally officially gets underway for its fourth edition in the WRC. Two-time world champion, Kalle Rovanpera, will follow his teammate, whilst Ogier will follow both drivers.
It is expected to be a potentially wet start to the event with rain forecast late in the day, which could help Evans’ position as the weekend unfolds. So what is the itinerary for the upcoming rally weekend?

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
