The WRC calendar has been confirmed for next season, and it will continue to be kicked off at the traditional curtain raiser of Monte Carlo, in January. Saudi Arabia will keep its spot as the season finale, as it stands in 2025.

Croatia will return to the calendar and will take place in April, whilst Japan will move to a new slot in May. The Japanese rally will split up the European gravel rallies, with Portugal taking place ahead of Japan, and Greece succeeding it.

The WRC has stated this is “to limit the impact of road sweeping for early championship leaders.”

Sweden and Kenya will keep their usual February and March spots next season, whilst there will be a slightly interrupted European leg, starting with Croatia and ending with Finland, with Japan splitting it up in May.

It has been confirmed that the Central European Rally has been removed from next year’s calendar.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
