Monaco is the next stop on the Formula 1 2025 calendar for the eighth round of the championship. It also marks the second street circuit event of the season following the Miami Grand Prix, but stands as the most iconic.
The Principality is the second European race of the season, as part of F1’s first triple header on the continent. However, the sport is preparing for the shake-up of regulations.
In Spain, there will be a clampdown on flexi-wings next week. However, this weekend, there is a mandatory two-stop.
The FIA confirmed in February this year that they were set to impose a two-stop race in Monaco, meaning the teams and drivers will be forced to use three tyre compounds – if it’s a dry race.
According to the Met Office, the race weekend is expected to be a dry one with a risk of rain on Saturday. There is a 50% chance of rain after FP3, but before qualifying.

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
