Toyota reveal striking new livery for their Rally1 Yaris
12th December 2023 0 By Kamron KentThe usual World Rally Championship curtain opener is just around the corner, at Monte-Carlo, and the reigning champions Toyota Gazoo Racing have revealed their striking livery for the 2024 season.
The reigning, and defending, champions will be hoping their new black livery will heed their way to further championship glory after securing title success over the last three seasons.
Gone is the predominately white colour scheme, mixed in with splashes of red and black, on their Rally1 Yaris which fans have grown accustomed to with their recent championship-winning contenders at the hands of Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera from 2021 to 2023.
For 2024, the team have opted to go for a primarily matte-black colour scheme with red and white decals showcasing the Gazoo Racing initials on the body work.
Toyota has taken the covers off its new look GR Yaris Rally1 that will contest the 2024 #WRC.

This change in livery design has come after the team have opted to run two different liveries for both their WRC and World Endurance Championship entries, inspired by their concepts of ‘speed’ and ‘prototype.’
The ‘speed’ concept was inspired by the team’s hate-to-lose team spirit whereas the ‘prototype’ concept expresses the team’s ambition to develop even better cars through the power of motorsports.
However, the new livery is not the only change Toyota will see this season.
Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta will line the Japanese Marquee’s regular driver line-up but they have, defending champion, Rovanpera and, eight-time world champion, Ogier on a part-time programme through 2024.
That’s all for the article; Toyota reveal striking new livery for their Rally1 Yaris!
