FIA to appoint their first-ever CEO
16th September 2022The FIA have appointed Natalie Robyn to be their first CEO for the Federation, to boost the organisation’s managerial structure.
The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile is set to appoint their first CEO in the near future, as part of the governing bodies plan to improve the management structure of the organisation.
Robyn is set to fill that role with over 15 years within financial and automotive sectors. During her career, the American-born executive has taken up senior roles within Volvo, Nissan and DaimlerChrysler.
Ahead of her new role, within a statement from the FIA, Robyn commented:
“I am delighted to be appointed the first ever CEO of the FIA at such an important and exciting time for the Federation.
“I look forward to working with Members, the senior leadership team and the President to deliver their vision of reform and growth with the involvement of all staff.”
In the new role, Robyn will be at the leading end of the governing bodies financial performance. The American will also be expected to drive the organisation’s vision of reform within the Federation.
In addition, according to the FIA, the newly-appointed CEO will also develop ‘new commercial growth plans’ in a bid to increase and diversify the organisation’s revenue streams – and provide more ‘resources’ for its members.
In a statement – released by the FIA – the FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, said:
“The appointment of Natalie Robyn as our first ever CEO is a transformative moment for our Federation.
“Her extensive experience and leadership will be crucial to improving our finances, governance and operations.
“She has a proven track record of delivering diversification and growth, as well as developing executive leadership capabilities which will be an extremely valuable asset to the FIA and our Members and I welcome her to the team.”
