McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo launches new wine
4th April 2022For those who love Formula 1, Daniel Ricciardo and wine, the Australian McLaren driver has found your solution.
Named the DR3 II, the limited edition wine is the second release in association with St Hugo, which has been released ahead of the Australian drivers home grand prix this weekend.
The fine wine comes in two forms, a 2020 South Australian Shiraz and the 2018 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.
According to St Hugo, Ricciardo has taken on a hands-on approach to tasting and blending the 2020 DR3 South Australian Shiraz – under the guidance of Hugo’s Chief Winemaker, Peter Munro.
However, at this current moment, only Australian’s can purchase the limited edition fine wine for $70. But, you can go onto a waiting list to be informed about the next DR3 and St Hugo release.
However, it’s not the only thing fine wine enthusiasts and motorsport fans will get with their chosen wine. They can also purchase their very own Ricciardo Decanter – a replica glass of his very own racing shoe.
But, this comes with a hefty $700 price tag…
On the bright side of that bit of news, fans will be able to have their very own shoey – a trademark of the Australian driver – without getting their own shoes drenched in their chosen beverage.
For more information you can check out the St Hugo website.
